Pre-requisite units and entry requirements
Please note that Heed Education’s Express Diploma of Accounting incorporates pre-requisite units. If you have completed Accounting principles skill set or Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping, you may be eligible for a transfer of credit for some of the units of competency. At the time of enrolment, students without an equal or higher level qualification shall be requested by Heed Education to complete a short online language, literacy and numeracy quiz.

Minimum age entry requirement is 15 years.
Resource Requirement
There is a requirement to purchase textbooks for this course. Textbook purchase detail will provided at the time of enrolment.
Students are provided access to learning support material, assessment, supporting documentation and supplementary information via online learning platform upon enrolment.
In order to complete the course each student must have access to the following:
- A working computer (Windows PC or Mac^)
- Headsets (computer in-built or external)
- Microsoft office 2010 or later
- Internet
- Printer/photocopier/scanner
- Smart phone
- Email account
- Calculator
^Mac users: For MYOB related units students will need to install and use ‘Parallels’ or similar software, i.e. an emulator installed to allow the Mac to run Windows programs as data files are supplied in Windows format.
Computer skills
Minimum computer skills required for completion of the course:
- Creating, saving and editing Microsoft office documents
- Accessing and searching the internet for relevant information
- Downloading and saving documents.
